Known for her ‘can do’ attitude and collaborative approach, Shelley Wrigley joined Hunter Group in 2015 after working with members of the Hunter Group team at Otago University.
Shelley has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry from Massey University and a Master of Entrepreneurship from the University of Otago.
Shelley thrives on creating practical solutions to difficult and complex issues
Shelley’s background is in IT system implementation, for large and small systems. She has worked in both the public and private sector, in projects where competing priorities are the norm, and time is always of the essence.
Shelley has a strong set of business and system analyst skills which, coupled with an instinct for putting the right people together and asking the right questions, means she can create innovative solutions to address any problem.
Shelley works closely with others to build a ‘big picture’ view and identify potential longer term issues.
Her work ethic, ability to get the most out of her team members,
and practical orientation to change, gives Shelley a definite edge in addressing difficult and complex issues successfully.
Those who work with Shelley appreciate her tact, support and calm approach.
Given the unpredictability of life, Shelley enjoys regular travel opportunities with her family and lots of thoughtful discussion with those she meets (sometimes literally on the side of the road).
