Darryl joined Hunter Group in early 2013, after a stimulating and successful military career. Darryl has served in senior operational roles as well as commanding forces, both within New Zealand and on overseas postings.

Darryl has particular expertise in business cases, having used the Treasury’s Better Business Case standard extensively for projects large and small. Complementing
this technical knowledge and expertise, Darryl is skilled at project and programme design, planning, coordination and execution. By creating cohesive and well directed teams he consistently delivers challenging outcomes. His eye for detail ensures all aspects are covered.
Darryl has excellent strategy, leadership and management skills, and a remarkable talent for
communicating with people from across all parts of an organisation. People enjoy working with him.
Outside of work Darryl spends most of his time with his wife and three teenage sons, as they venture into the outdoors. There’s always a challenge to be set and achieved. He balances this with a cultural side, being a wide ranging reader, an avid movie watcher, and enjoying a diverse range of music.
